Terms and Conditions — Inside Measurements

Welcome to Inside Measurements. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of our metabolic testing services, including Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and VO₂ testing (the “Services”).

By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1) Bookings and Payments

• Payment: All Services must be paid for in full at the time of booking via our integrated Stripe payment system.
• Expiry: All tests must be taken within 6 months of the original booking date. Any sessions not used within this 6 month period will expire and are non-refundable.

2) No-Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any services purchased. Please ensure you are committed to the testing process and have reviewed the pre-test requirements before completing your purchase.

3) Rescheduling and Cancellations

We operate a strict 48-hour notice policy for all changes to appointments.

• Rescheduling (More than 48 hours notice): You may reschedule your appointment free of charge, provided you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled time. Rescheduling must be managed by you online via the link provided in your booking confirmation email.
• Late Cancellations & Late Rescheduling (Within 48 hours notice): If you cancel or attempt to reschedule your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a 50% rebooking fee will apply to secure a new date.
• No-Shows: If you fail to attend your appointment, the full session fee is forfeited and no rebooking or refund will be offered.

4) Health and Safety Disclaimer

• Physical Readiness: VO₂ testing involves maximal physical exertion. By booking, you warrant that you are in good physical health and have no known medical conditions that would make such exertion dangerous.
• Not Medical Advice: Our test results are for informational and performance purposes only. They do not constitute medical diagnosis or treatment. We recommend consulting a GP before making significant changes to your diet or exercise regime.
• Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical testing. Inside Measurements is not liable for any injuries sustained during the testing process, except where caused by our gross negligence.

5) Client Preparation (Pre-Test Instructions)

Accurate results depend on your adherence to pre-test protocols (e.g., fasting, avoiding caffeine and specific exercise restrictions).

These instructions are provided on our website as a minimum. If you arrive for your appointment having failed to follow these instructions, we may be unable to perform the test. In this instance, the session is forfeited and the 50% rebooking fee will apply to schedule a new session.

6) Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos and test report formats, is the property of Inside Measurements. You may not reproduce or exploit any portion of the website or our materials without written permission.

7) Third-Party Links

We link out to our YouTube channel for educational content. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of YouTube or any other external sites.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Inside Measurements’ total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
